How long have you been volunteering as a Mentor Couple? This is our first year as a mentor couple.What is your favorite part about Marriage Mentoring? Our favorite part about being a mentor couple is when we meet for the last time with a couple, solely because looking back at the progress the couple has made, from the first session until the last. We see the immense growth in their relationship, and it is so inspiring and encouraging. As mentors, it also strengthens our marriage in more way than we ever thought.
What is one thing you like to tell people about Marriage Mentoring? One of the things we like to tell others about marriage mentoring is that it isn't "just" for the struggling, the hurting or those on the brink of divorce; it is for every marriage! If you are married, why wouldn't you want to enrich your relationship with the one you love the most- and make it even better? We are parents of six children, and if we can make time to focus on our relationship and make it a priority, then anyone can.
